ART DIRECTION

ART DIRECTION

I was born watching my father, who was an advertising photographer, produce, lighting and making photos, of the most varied styles. I loved getting out of school and spending my day in the studio with him. That was my best joke! As a teenager, I got a vinyl collection from a friend of my father's and there, I discovered two new passions: illustration and typologies. I spent hours analyzing, copying, xeroxing those covers to make new collages with them. With those collages I decorated the covers of my notebooks and made cards for my closest friends, and those were my first layouts. Years later, I got into FAAP University to study Design and started to work on DPZ as an assistant. From that time until now, this site shows a little bit of this story of passion for brands, advertising, creativity, and everything that involves art direction.

OSESP - See THE MUSIC

Using technology, we transformed music in graphic art. Through a sensor on the tip of the Maestrina's baton, we could capture all the baton movements, while she conducted the orchestra. It was as if the baton turned into a pen and the air turned into paper, generating unique drawings for each music. Those drawings were turned into posters, those posters were turned into a exhibition and the exhibition was turned into money to help OSESP fundraising for the rest of the year.

NGO LAL - WASH THE THING

To make men aware of penis cancer, we needed to educate and remind them to wash their penis every day. For this, plastic artists, designers and illustrators created 365 arts, one for each day of the year, with the most different techniques of illustration and creation of images.

Mapfre - crashad massages

To carry traffic safety messages with great impact, we created a font, using the letters of real car license plates, crumpled and discarded after serious traffic accidents. There were weeks of artisanal work of cutting and fixing the letters in OOH spread across São Paulo City, one of the cities with the most intense and dangerous traffic in the world.

YOUNG LIONS – THE RITE OF PASSAGE

In this work, we created illustrations and fonts using silk screen techniques, to show the unique way these rituals were done, paralleling the difficulty of becoming a Young Lion.

SUSTAGEN KIDS - DIFFICILE and FAticant

To show mothers that Sustagen Kids is a great and practical option for mothers to ensure a balanced and nutrient-rich food for their children, who are scared and refuse to eat healthy foods, we use real foods to create cute and powerful images. to attract children's curiosity to those dishes. So, we gave the mother two options: the practicality of Sustagem Kids, or all the work to reproduce these animals.
